[Acts 20:24 KJV] “But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.”
Each of us was born and called with a purpose and a course to chart. There is something that God has placed on our hearts and in our spirits. There is a course that we must chart and a purpose to fulfil. Many, however, fail to fulfil this purpose because they lack certain fundamental things that can help them to fulfil their purpose.
I want to mention 6 things we need to fulfill purpose:
1. Vision: Where there is no vision, the people cast off restraints; the people set no boundaries.
2. Knowledge: For the lack of knowledge (godly knowledge), the people are held captives. The people go into captivity because of a lack of godly knowledge.
3. Shepherds: Where there are no shepherds the people lose hope; the people go astray; the people become malnourished.
4. Anointing: By the arm of flesh shall no man shall prevail; you receive power after the Holy Ghost comes upon you.
5. Community: Where there is no community, people who fall never rise again. A threefold cord is not easily broken. God intends to build a spiritual house with us.
6. First love: Passion is the spirit that drives consistent labour that produces results. When you lose the passion or your first love you just get to go through the motions of life without real drive.
