If we can really recover, restore, and redeploy people, territories, and unctions; we need a Strategy, Shrewdness, Swiftness, Steadfastness, Strength, and Spirit.
If you really want to work for God and abound in the work, you need these six(6) things. You need a working strategy, shrewdness, swiftness, steadfastnness, strength, and the Spirit.
Strategy
If we really want to win souls then we must be strategic. Most of us are lay workers and there is the need to a working strategy and plan. Time, place and people management is an important skill in the pursuit of souls. We need to be both tactical and strategic in our pursuits. We can not fight as one that beat the air. We must actually be strategic in all that we do.
Acts 18:1-5 KJV — “After these things Paul departed from Athens, and came to Corinth; [2] and found a certain Jew named Aquila, born in Pontus, lately come from Italy, with his wife Priscilla; (because that Claudius had commanded all Jews to depart from Rome:) and came unto them.”
[3] “And because he was of the same craft, he abode with them, and wrought: for by their occupation they were tentmakers. [4] And he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks. [5] And when Silas and Timotheus were come from Macedonia, Paul was pressed in the spirit, and testified to the Jews that Jesus was Christ.“
Be spiritual. Spirituality is not action but it’s perspectives or outlook. A spiritual person focuses on thing that are eternal. A spiritual person strives to gain God’s understanding into things.
- Be shrewd as serpents: (Luke 10) we must be able to judge people and situations well and make good decisions:
- Be sensitive and supportive: to be aware of and respond to other people’s needs and feelings. Show readiness to respond to stimuli; in this context, to be empathetic. David was sensitive to the needs of others. Being supportive means focusing on lifting people up; encourage and exhort others more.
- Be swift: we need to be swift in your response to
- Be steadfast: the Bible encourages us to be steadfast; unmovable and always abounding in the work of the Lord.
- Be strong: the Bible calls on us to be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might.
Stay blessed
