I believe with all my heart that God wants to make all godly again.
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.” (Romans 3:23-26 KJV)
The Bible tells us that in the beginning, God created man in His own image after His likeness. (Genesis 1:26-28) He blessed us to have dominion over the Earth and the creeping things; to subdue the Earth and replenish it and fill it with good things.
In the process of time however we disobeyed God and sin entered into the world. Genesis 3 teaches that the woman fell for the schemes and con of the serpent. All sinned because of the sin of one man and fell short of the glory of God. What we lost is the glory of God. What we lost is godliness. What we lost is the nature of God in us. We lost a portion of it.
God’s purpose in the fullness of time is to restore His nature back to the human race. God wants to make all godly again. God wants to redeem and restore the glory of God to us one more time. God is justifying and restoring godliness back to all those who can believe in Jesus Christ.
But how can they believe when they have not heard? How can they hear when there is no preacher? In this light, the Lord spoke to me and said “Just keep running in your calling. Just keep preaching. Keep reaching the world and share the truth with them. Don’t lose your focus; keep running and make the world godly again.”
It’s time to step out with fire into the highways and hedges and press on to reach the rest of the world. Don’t sleep! Don’t slack! Just keep running!
