The Glory of God – How to Bring it Down

In this season of the Spirit and Mighty Harvest, we want to commit ourselves to explore the key secrets to bring down the glory of God, and to fill the house of God with His glory.

[2 Chronicles 5:12-14 KJV] “Also the Levites which were the singers, all of them of Asaph, of Heman, of Jeduthun, with their sons and their brethren, being arrayed in white linen, having cymbals and psalteries and harps, stood at the east end of the altar, and with them an hundred and twenty priests sounding with trumpets:)”

[13] It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord ; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord , saying , For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord ; [14] So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God”.

There are many people who will never find this house unless they see the glory. There must be glory upon our tabernacle of witness as cloud by day and fire by night (See Exodus 40 verses 33 downwards).

We live in the days of the Spirit and many seek to have an encounter with the glory of God. The story of the dedication of the tabernacle of Moses and that of the temple of Solomon creates a parallel that offers us this deep revelation. We are living in the days of His glory and many of the things that are set to happen shall happen as we get ready. I see the church getting ready for the outpouring of the glory.

The simple secrets to bring down the glory of God are;

1. Set up the tabernacle:

Both the days of Moses and that of Solomon teach us this lesson. The glory never came down until the meeting place was set up. We will see the glory of God when we set up the meeting.

2. Assemble together:

The second key is the gathering of the people. We must bring the people to gather to sacrifice and to worship. We must be willing to offer the religious worship and sacrifice to God.

3. Sacrifice unto the Lord:

The story in 2 Chronicle 5:1-14 teaches that they sacrificed oxen without number; Multitudes of oxens. The king was willing to sacrifice unto the Lord. When the church gets ready to sacrifice then the glory is ready to come down.

4. All ministers that attended were sanctified:

We must come to the meeting prepared and to serve. We must come ready and sanctified. You will see the glory of God when you prepare ahead of time and come in ready.

5. Let the singers and instruments make a sound as one man:

Agreement, and singing in one accord is key to the release of glory. God will come down when there is tranquility and peace.

These are the simple secrets to fill this house with the glory of God. We can and must fill this house with the glory of God because of the masses that come to worship and must come to worship.

I pray that the glory shall settle upon this house and Chapel. I pray that the house and the people will be filled. May the Lord help us and bring about the needed change. Be blessed!
