Today I will be sharing with you on restoring the glory to the temple. We know that we are the temple of God and He dwells in us by His Spirit. However when sin entered, we fell short of the glory of God. Sin is a reproach to every people. Sin steals the glory from us but us we wait on God, we are believing God for a restoration of the glory.
Romans 8:19-21, the earnest expectation of all creature (that have been made subject to vanity) awaits the manifestation of the sons of God so that they can be made partakers of our glorious liberty. We are the hope of all creature and we must restore the lost glory.
One of the key things that would restore the glory of the temple is our sacrificial giving.
At the dedication of the temple in 2 Chronicles 7:1-7, we see how sacrificial giving brought down the;
- Fire of God
- The glory of God
- Spontaneous worship and praise
- Increased giving
- Increase divine visitations
- Generational Covenants
When our offering goes up the glory comes down. I believe with all my heart that having offered our thanksgiving offering, after this season of prayer; the fire, glory, and visitation of God will come down. God will watch over His word to perform it. Nothing will block the fire that purges and the glory that beautifies.
God will visit; get ready and see His hands touch us. May the Lord show up to help us and to restore the glory to the temple.
As we return to the God of Zion with our sacrifice of thanksgiving, He will heal, deliver and resource us. The God of Zion is the God of healing, the God of deliverance, and of our prosperity.
