Destiny is the anticipated end, where the road is leading. It is important to understand that we are all predestinated to conform to the image of the Son of God.
What God expects and is looking forward to is that we would be changed into the image of His Son.
[Romans 8:28-30 KJV] “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
“For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.”
“Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.”
There are three things, however, that affect this purpose and the outcome of your life. These 3 things are our beliefs, relationships, and actions;
- What you believe
- Who your relate with
- What you do
These three things always affect the outcome of life. Whether you know it or not is not an issue. If you want to escape the negative impact of doctrine, relationship, and actions; you must do the following;
- Recognise and celebrate the word of God. (See Romans 1:16-17, Matthew 23:39)
- Allow the word of God to have dominion over your doctrine, relationships, and actions.
- Focus on the word of God. This is because you will be changed into the same glory you fix your gaze on. (See 2 Corinthians 3:18)
- Let the word of God (which is Christ) stay in you. Remember that Christ (the word) in you is the hope of Glory. (See Collossians 1:27)
There is no other way to make it. You must allow the word of God (Christ in you) to have dominion and control over your beliefs, relationships, and actions.
My book, Purpose and Pursuits addresses the subject of life’s pupose in a powerful way that will bless you.
