[1 Thessalonians 5:20-22 NLT] “Do not scoff at prophecies, but test everything that is said. Hold on to what is good. Stay away from every kind of evil.”
Prophecy, by definition, are of two key types: to foretell and to forth-tell. There are times when people speak by inspiration things that are just about to happen or things that will happen in the future. Whenever we gather for fellowship or come to church, there are prophetic words that are spoken to and over us. These are prophetic words that we must fight for. These are the good words that must manifest in our lives. If you want these words to manifest in your life then you must;
1. Believe and honour the prophet:
The Bible teaches us to believe God and we will be established; his prophets and we will prosper. A prophet is not without honour; except among his one people. We must learn how to honour and receive the prophet.
2. Despise not prophesying:
Honour the word and it will manifest in your life. When you honour the word; It will save you a great deal. You must learn how to receive prophesy.
3. Judge every prophecy.
Prove all things and must not be greedy. Prove all things and hold on to that which is good. Don’t swallow any prophecy hook, line and sinker. You must prove all prophecies
4. War a good warfare by the prophecy:
You must spend time praying for the miracle. Spend time warring for lives. There is a word hanging over your life that must manifest. There is a dimension of God you need to walk into; this is what we ought to war for by prophecy. The prophecy ought to direct your warfare.
Spend blessed
