The secret to spiritual growth and maturity is reading your Bible and praying everyday. This is one of the most important instructions and secrets on growth and maturity. If we really want to grow, then that is how to do it; read your Bible and pray everyday.
We must be honest. To be effective, you must lay apart all the malice and hypocrisy, and guile, and evil speakings. You must read the Word with an open heart and mind to recieve the virtue that comes with the word. These are the little things that can choke the Word and keep it from yielding the needed fruits.
We also recommend doing it daily, it is better to get a little word at a time, rather than a big chunk after a while. Growth comes in with consistent effort. You must do it a little at a time over a period of time. Read your Bible and pray everyday if you want to grow.
