Let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. (Galatians 6:9, KJV)
Notice the condition tucked into that promise, if we faint not. The harvest is guaranteed, but only to those who refuse to quit. Many give up one season too soon, abandoning the field just before it was about to yield. Consistency is the unseen muscle of loyalty. Anybody can start; faithfulness is finishing.
It is easy to serve God when results are quick and applause is loud, but the mark of a mature believer is the one who keeps sowing when nothing yet has sprung up. Weariness is real, but weariness is not a reason to walk away; it is a reason to lean harder on God’s strength. The real question is whether you will let tiredness rob you of a reward already on its way.
Do not despise the boredom of doing right repeatedly; that very repetition is building your harvest. This July, keep showing up in prayer, in giving, in service, in love. Outlast the discouragement. The reaping belongs to the consistent, and your due season is closer than you think.
Prayer
Father, strengthen me where I have grown weary in doing good. Help me to remain consistent in prayer, in service, and in love. I refuse to faint before my harvest comes. Renew my zeal and carry me to my due season. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
