“And being let go, they went to their own company, and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said unto them. And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is:” ( Acts 4:23-24 KJV)
Many people don’t pray because they are misinformed to think that prayer is a complex practice but praying doesn’t need to be difficult anymore.
Anyone of us can enjoy 100% answers to prayer. We must therefore strive to pray always without stopping. We must arise and build a habit of Prayer.
The simple steps to 100% answers to prayer are:
- Open your mouth and lift your voice:
Prayer must be vocal. That means you have to open your mouth and speak out. Effective praying involves speaking out. If your ears can not hear what you are saying, your mind might not stay on the throne of grace.
- Speak your request into the air:
God both lives in Heaven and dwells in us and among us by His Spirit. Our prayer requests reach Him when He hears our voice. He is a Spirit but the most effective prayers I have read about in the scriptures were all vocal. The petitioners spoke verbally to the Lord. This is the second step to effective praying. When you are praying avoid vain repetition. Go straight to the point and make your request known unto God. Just speak into the air and be on point.
- Believe that God can both hear and do what you are asking of Him:
The scriptures assure us that because Jesus Christ died and rose again and ascended into Heaven, whatever we ask of Him He will do it.
Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them (Mark 11:24 KJV)
