“Take us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines: for our vines have tender grapes.” (Song of Solomon 2:15 KJV)

It’s easy to find love you can enjoy but extremely difficult to enjoy the love you found. In today’s devotional, we seek to identify some little foxes that destroy the tender grapes of love.

We want to explore little things we ignore that destroy the tender grapes of love;

Church-in-Accra
  1. The first little fox that destroy the tender grapes of love is listening to gossips and tale bearers.

The scriptures teach that when we cast out scorners every contention shall cease. You need to be wise as a suitor not to allow scorners and tale bears to ruin your beautiful relationship.

  1. The second little fox that destroy the tender grapes of love is the folly of Vashti:

Suitors and wives must be careful of the folly of Vashti i.e. competitiveness, despising your spouse, and dishonouring your spouse. Vashti lost her place because of this foolishness. You can keep your place when you honour your husband and spouse.

  1. The thirds fox that destroy the tender grapes of love is being contentious and angry:

A contentious woman is as a continual dropping on a rainy day and a contentious man is as wood to coals of burning fire. Being contentious kills romance.

  1. The fourth fox is denying each other due benevolence:

Every one of us that is married should try to please the spouse in bed. Sex is a little detail that makes a big difference in marriage. (1 Corinthians 7:1-5)

God bless you, I love you!
