[Joshua 5:8-9 KJV] “And it came to pass, when they had done circumcising all the people, that they abode in their places in the camp, till they were whole. And the LORD said unto Joshua, This day have I rolled away the reproach of Egypt from off you. Wherefore the name of the place is called Gilgal unto this day.”
I believe that as you step into your new season of flourishing and bearing fruits where you are planted; God will roll away your reproach and wash you as white as snow. Sin has a way of bringing reproach upon you but righteousness exalt a nation. God is determined to roll away your reproach once you are willing to step into the covenant of sonship.
The Bible tells us that when Israel gathered at Gilgal Joshua did as God demanded and circumcised the people; right after the circumcision God told them that He has rolled away their reproach. You will not and must not step into the new season with reproach and shame. You will be washed by the blood of Jesus Christ that was shed at calvary. Israel came into the covenant by the blood of their circumcision but we are stepping into the covenant by the blood of Jesus Christ that was shed at calvary.
I pray for you that the manifest glory of God shall cloth you and bring you into the realm of honour and favour. When you come into the covenant by the blood, you will begin to walk in honour and dignity. This is the time to pray and speak to the Lord to remove far from you that childlessness, impotence, diabetes, paralysis, mental illness, and that shameful infirmity. This is the time to subdue the shame and disgrace. This is the time to stand and plead with God to honour His word.
May God favour and honour you in public. May Jehovah cause His glory to manifest upon you. Recieve that touch of His power. May you never stubble into shame. May He roll away your reproach and bring you to glory and dignity in the name of Jesus Christ!
This is the time to circumcise our hearts! This is the time to give up the unbelief, lust, anxiety, greed, the love for the world and all that make you disrespect God. This is the time and the moment and God will roll away anything that causes reproach.
