[1 Peter 5:8 KJV] “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:“
A lion is anything you are thrown to with the intension that it should devour you. I prophesy to you that you will not be destroyed. God will shut the mouth of every lion and you will come out unhurt! Remember! I didn’t say you will escape unhurt; you will walk out unhurt as Daniel walked out of the lion’s den. You will come out! You will walk out unhurt with dignity and majesty!
God will shut the mouth of every lion you are thrown to; just be sober, vigilant, have faith, pray, and bear no grudge. Let your heart be right before Him; and God will show Himself strong on your behalf! The God of Daniel shall be your God; the teeth of lions cannot devour you. God will shut the mouth of lions and bring you out unhurt.
:Then the king arose very early in the morning, and went in haste unto the den of lions. And when he came to the den, he cried with a lamentable voice unto Daniel: and the king spake and said to Daniel, O Daniel, servant of the living God, is thy God, whom thou servest continually, able to deliver thee from the lions? Then said Daniel unto the king, O king, live for ever. My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions’ mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.” (Daniel 6:19-22 KJV)
The lions cannot feed on your flesh. You are too treasured to be consumed. Your name is in the Lamb’s book and you have made yourself a saviour of men. You cannot be consumed. You cannot and will not. You are coming out! Coming out with dignity and majesty!
1. God will shut the mouth of lions because of your faith, prayer, and right heart
Just be sober and vigilant; believe and pray; and bear no grudge nor habour bitterness. God will fight for you. God is will preserve your life. You will not be destroyed!
God will break the teeth of young lions and you will escape!
In Psalms 58:6, the psalmist prayed and requested that God break the teeth of lions! May God arise on your behalf and break the teeth of young lions and hurtful situations that seek to destroy you! May God cause you to prevail! You will come out unhurt; only BE SOBER, VIGILANT, FAITHFUL, PRAYERFUL, and FORGIVING.
