Angels are not mythical figures reserved for Sunday school stories; Scripture describes them as ministering spirits actively sent forth on behalf of every believer.
This month, pray with awareness that heaven has assigned angelic assistance to your life, for protection on dangerous roads, provision in difficult seasons, and direction at critical crossroads. Activate this ministry through faith-filled prayer.
It is easy to read about angels in the accounts of Daniel, Elijah, or the shepherds at Bethlehem and imagine that such angelic activity belonged to a different, more dramatic era. But Hebrews makes clear that angelic ministry continues even now, sent forth specifically to minister to those who shall be heirs of salvation, which includes you.
Angels are dispatched for various assignments: Psalm 91 speaks of them keeping us in all our ways, bearing us up so that we do not dash our foot against a stone; Acts records an angel opening prison doors for Peter; another strengthened Jesus in Gethsemane.
This month, pray boldly for the ministry of angels to be activated around your life. Pray for angelic protection over your travels, your home, and your children. Pray for angelic assistance in circumstances that seem impossible in the natural, doors that need to be supernaturally opened, and dangers that need to be supernaturally averted.
This is not superstition; it is simply believing what the Word already declares. As you pray, also walk in obedience and holiness, for angels respond to the Word of God spoken in faith.
Fill your mouth with Scripture, decree God’s promises over your life, and trust that the ministering spirits assigned to you are already at work on your behalf, often unseen but never absent.

- Father, activate the ministry of angels assigned to protect and assist me this month.
- Lord, send angelic assistance into every impossible situation I am facing.
