You can develop your staying power. Pastor Rick Warren once said “a person’s greatness is not measured by his or her education, wealth, achievements and experience; but by what it takes to discourage him or her”.
“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him”. (Hebrews 11:6 KJV)
“And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there: Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me. But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God”.(Acts 20:22-24 KJV)
What does it take to discourage you? Hmmm! Until you can outlive, out fruit, and out last your detractor and critics you will not make any impact. The only way to fulfil your ministry and destiny is to determine not to be discouraged easily.
Apostle Paul in the text we read will not be discouraged, not even by prophecies and word from the Holy Spirit. The man was determined and poised to finish his course. Pastor Simpe will not be discouraged. Your criticism means nothing to me now. Now I know its sheer envy and witchcraft. My face is set as a flint. I will run my race and not turn to the lift or right.
Prepare your horses, they shall be overthrown! God is rousing himself as a man of war for our sakes. The Lord shall fight and crush every reprisal and satanic attack. Our spirits cannot be broken easily. We are here to stay and to make impact. We are in to win and our profiting shall show.
Every accuser shall fail. We would strengthen and fight for the church. The church is a Jesus project. He is building his church. The church shall have the last laugh. We will overcome and win. It takes a lot to discourage the lights of the world. HighCity is winning. Our spirits are revived. God is reviving his presence among. Arise and fight for your brethren.
You can go far if you press on and don’t throw in the towel.
It takes radical faith to please God. All who have come to God must know that he is, he exists and that he is the rewarder of those who diligently seek him. If you really want to please God there are three fundamental things that you must believe:
You must believe that God exists: this is the first foundation to please God. You must admit that God is real; he is a person.
You must also believe that God rewards those who diligently seek him: those who believe that God rewards those who diligently seek him, find it easy to please him.
You must believe to the end: you must tell yourself, that I must believe to the end. No matter what happens, you must keep believing.
Remember the real champion is the one who overcomes to the end and overcomes lawfully. Faith is fundamental to pleasing God. Those who are able to believe, please him. Those who think he does not exist become fools.
These are the qualities that made Job what he became. Become a die hard and press on without wavering.
