Watch and Pray

[Mark 14:38 KJV] “Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak”.

I want to exhort you to watch and pray, for the simple reason that you could fall into temptation if you don’t watch and pray. Indeed, many of the times we have great aspirations and hopes and visions for life; but the flesh is not as strong as the spirit within which the visions and hopes and dreams are conceived. Many of “the times, the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak”.

Many of us have many aspirations for life, for the year, for the decade; but it will take watchfulness and prayer, ardent prayer to be able to pursue and fulfil these dreams. We need to pray if we really want to fulfil the dreams and aspirations on our heart.

I pray for you that the Lord will empower your vision. May your watchfulness deliver you from the traps of the enemy. May you escape like never before. Your prayer and watchfulness and vigilance shall cause you to escape. May you never sleep spiritually! As you step out today, may your spiritual eyes be opened; you shall not fall prey to the agents of darkness. Your soul shall escape from the snare of the fowler! You will be safe in the city and safe in the field. Your watchfulness and prayer shall pay off beautifully.
